What It Is
Cosmetic acupuncture is a refined application of Chinese medicine that enhances the appearance of the skin while supporting the health of the whole body. It involves the gentle insertion of thin, sterile needles, placed strategically across the face (and body) to stimulate the skins regenerative processes. Rather than treating the surface alone, it works from the inside out, addressing the underlying physiology that shapes how the skin looks and ages.
When fine needles are placed into the face at specific points, they prompt the skin’s natural healing response, increasing circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients to the tissue, while boosting collagen, elastin and fibroblast stimulation; the proteins responsible for firmness, elasticity, and a smooth, luminous complexion. Over time, this can soften the appearance of fine lines, improve tone and texture, and lend the skin a more lifted, rested quality.

If you choose to begin your series within 30 days, the cost of this session is credited toward your package.
Cosmetic acupuncture is designed as a series. A single session is a wonderful introduction, but meaningful, lasting change in the skin comes from consistent, repeated treatment.

How It Works
Facial acupuncture points are chosen based on your individual presentation + skincare goals, while following a specific protocol.
In Chinese medicine and acupuncture, we don’t look at the body and face as separate aspects of health. Body points are used alongside facial points to regulate qi, blood and organ systems that influence skin health.
What To Expect
At The Jade Center, cosmetic acupuncture is done as a structured treatment series:
2 treatments per week for 5 weeks (10 treatments total)
This frequency is required to initiate meaningful change in the skin
After the initial series, treatments move to monthly maintenance, which can be done more frequently depending on your goals
Each treatment is approximately 90 minutes

*In order to get the most out of your treatment, your body needs frequency and consistency. For this reason we do not book cosmetic acupuncture as one-time, individual treatments at this time.
Our Process
Acupuncture
We begin with body acupuncture to address your internal pattern and how it shows up in your skin, followed by facial acupuncture, which stimulates circulation, collagen, elastin and fibroblast production at specific facial acupuncture points. This sets the foundation for your treatment.
Celluma LED Infrared Therapy
While the needles are retained and you rest, you’ll relax under Celluma LED Infrared Therapy. The wavelengths work alongside the needles to support collagen production, calm inflammation, enhance your skin tone and texture and increase microcirculation using photobiomodulation.
Cupping + Gua Sha
One we remove the needles, gentle facial cupping and gua sha releases held tension, sculpts and lifts, and encourages lymphatic flow to reduce puffiness and brighten the complexion.
Mask + Skincare
We finish with a nourishing mask and curated skincare to support your skin and the treatment, leaving your sin calm, hydrated and luminous.
