Everyone is different.
Acute conditions may benefit from 1-2 sessions per week at first.
For chronic or sub-acute conditions, we recommend weekly visits until symptoms start to shift or abate.
Maintenance appointments we recommend every other week or monthly, depending on the patient.
As every person and condition responds to acupuncture differently, we'll discuss a plan that feels right for you.

Yes. For your safety and to maintain a professional healing space, we reserve the right to refuse or end treatment. Reasons for refusing to treat may include, but are not limited to, if a patient arrives under the influence of drugs or alcohol, engages in abusive behavior, failure to comply with treatment plans, or if a patient engages in any actions that violate our clinic's policy. Regarding substance use, acupuncture affects the nervous system, and impaired states can interfere with your ability to safely and effectively receive care. This is to ensure your body can respond appropriately to acupuncture and to maintain the integrity of the treatment environment. This policy is in place to protect both you and your practitioner.
