Scheduling & Cancellations

While we are always happy to accommodate rescheduling when possible, we ask for at least 24 hours notice so we can offer your treatment to someone else who needs it. Cancellations made inside that window, or appointments missed without notice, are charged the full treatment fee.

If you’re working through a package, a late cancellation or missed appointment counts as one treatment from your package (the same as if we’d met). This allows us to hold your time and keep things fair for everyone waiting for a spot. If something genuinely unavoidable comes up, reach out and we will always do our best to work with you.

Late Arrivals

Life happens. If you’re running behind, please still come in, and we'll make the most of the time we have. We do need to end at your original appointment time so the patient after you isn't kept waiting, which means arriving late makes for a shorter session rather than a later finish. The full fee still applies.

Your First Visit

A first appointment includes a thorough intake. We will send your forms ahead of time for you to fill out before you come in. This ensures that we can begin and have a baseline understanding of who you are and what brings you in.

Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept cash and all major cards.

Insurance

We do not bill insurance directly, however for those patients whose insurance plans cover acupuncture, we can provide a superbill (detailed receipt) upon request. You, the patient, can submit the superbill to insurance for possible reimbursement. Whether you’re reimbursed, and how much, is determined entirely by your plan, so we'd recommend checking with your insurance company beforehand to see whether acupuncture is covered.

Packages & Series

Packages can be purchased online or in-office and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any unused sessions stay available to you for 1 year.

Cosmetic & Aesthetic Treatments

Treatments like cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling come with a few added considerations. We'll review your health history before beginning, and certain conditions, medications, or pregnancy may mean adjusting or postponing care, always for your safety. Following your aftercare guidance closely is what gives you the best, longest-lasting results.

If You're Feeling Unwell

If you wake up sick with a fever, an active cold or flu, or anything contagious, please reach out. This is often exactly when acupuncture can help. Depending on what is going on, we can determine if it makes sense to keep your appointment or reschedule.

A Safe and Respectful Space

This is a professional treatment space, and we keep it that way for everyone, both practitioner and patient. Please do not arrive under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs; acupuncture affects your circulation and nervous system, and we need you clear-headed both to consent and to be treated safely. If you arrive impaired, we reserve the right to reschedule, and normal cancellation terms apply.

Any sexual advances, inappropriate comments, or abusive or threatening behavior will end the appointment immediately and end our working relationship. These situations are rare, but it’s important to us that the space stays safe for everyone.

Declining or Ending Care

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue treatment when it isn't clinically appropriate, when the terms above aren't respected, or when payment isn't current. If we ever feel we are not the right practice for what you need, we will help point you toward care that's a better fit.
